GR Corolla CANchecked Splash Screen Download
I’ve had a few people ask about the custom loading splash screen I’m running on my GR Corolla, so I wanted to put this together for anyone who wants to download the files and try it out on their own setup.
How the Splash Screen Works
The way the CANchecked display loads the splash screen is actually pretty simple. It uses multiple image files and runs them in a quick sequence, almost like a flip book animation. Each image plays one after another, which creates the effect of an animated loading screen.
So with my limited graphic design skills, I made a sequence of screens that makes it look like the “Corolla” logo animates in during start-up. Nothing too crazy, but it adds a nice little OEM-plus/custom touch when the display boots up.
